Beginner Grooves - sold out!
Our Beginner Guitar Course was created for those with little to no experience. Instead of focusing heavily on scales or music theory, this class emphasized learning simple chords and strumming patterns through popular rock and pop songs, both classic and modern favorites. Over six sessions, students built confidence by playing real songs from day one in a fun, supportive group environment.
The course was taught by local musicians Matt Mahlum and Gregg “Cheech” Hall, who guided students through each step of their musical journey. FREE rental guitars were provided courtesy of Dave’s Guitar Shop!
Intermediate Jams
Our Intermediate Guitar Course is designed for players ready to build on the basics and continue developing their skills. In this second-level class, students expand into more complex strumming patterns and chords, including bar chords, while continuing to learn through songs rather than focusing on scales or music theory.
The class is once again taught by local musicians Matt Mahlum and Gregg “Cheech” Hall. FREE rental guitars provided by Dave’s Guitar Shop!
